He was left with one company. It's not as amazing, but it was for a full time position plus they were willing to waive the co-op. He went for an on-site interview, got a tour, and everything. Once he heard back, they decided to offer him a 3 months co-op then re-consider him for a full time job, instead of offering him the full time job right off the bat. So he chose the best thing for him. He chose California. And I don't blame him. I would have done the same thing (plus it pays really well).
With that said, in two months, we're both moving nearly three thousand miles across the country. Personally, I was pretty torn about this decision. I had told him long before his options were laid out before him that I was not open about California. Maybe part of me was just saying that to get him to lean toward his other options. I really don't know. Other people have asked me how I felt about moving, and I just shrug and say it's okay. When it is just Sean and I talking about it, I feel okay. We're both ready to move forward but together. I can easily transfer to another store and keep working. I can start fresh and job hunt for something in my field in the meantime. I can look into taking classes or even grad school. I know that with him by my side, and mine by his, we're gonna be okay.
