Just a few days after the apple picking, we had a miraculously warm sunny day. The trees were just brilliant in colors, ranging from bright golden yellow to glorious red. I knew I had to take advantage to go out on my own and do some photography (like the one above, with the adorable ducks chilling about). It was totally worth it, don't you think?
Once I heard from the boyfriend and that he had arrived home, I instantly left and picked him up and brought him back to where I was. There was no way I was going to let him miss out on this supercalifragilisticexpialidocious day (I couldn't resist!) He may not have cared, but I did. I've got to admit, in the past few weeks I've been incredibly demanding of his time. Let's just say it has gotten to the point where he's sick of hearing about how we don't spend enough time together, blah, blah, blah. Not having a job for two months and not having a regular routine filled with classes, meetings, events will certainly do that to you. SO DON'T DO IT! Good thing he's amazing that he can put up with me (because I really don't know how I would do it if I were in his shoes). Anyways, we walked around for at least an hour, just chatting on about our days, possible Thanksgiving plans, enjoying the sunset going down, witnessing crew teams practicing, and more. We even witnessed another couple making out so heavily to the point where if they had continued one more minute, their clothes would probably have come off. Thank goodness that did not happen and they took their business elsewhere out of sight.
One last photograph for you to enjoy, from the very same day, and also one of my proudest work that I MUST show off. These birds, sparrows, whatever you call them are so cute I could pinch their cheeks. I don't think they would appreciate that though. One little rant that I must get out. I absolutely HATE fall back time change. Yes I know, hate is a strong word, but I literally dread this day every year now. I don't think I even need to explain that spring forward is like one of my favorite days because I just absolutely love longer daylight. I guess I just explained. It's almost scary having to turn the heat on by 6pm when the sun isn't able to radiate heat through our windows anymore. And even worse, being a night owl equals hello-through-the-roof-bills. At least I'm fortunate enough that the electricity is included and we can use all the lights we want. And our little precious space heater running on max. I'm already ready for winter to pass and be done over with.
those photos are beautiful! i LOVE how you captured that bird mid-flight!
