I wanted to write before, after Sean and I got back from Springfield. Even more so, I wanted to rant. I knew I wasn't in the right state of mind to blog. Instead, I decided to take a few days until I knew I was ready.
Long story short, Sean's mother has changed a lot in the past year. We never had much of a relationship to begin with, but we definitely don't have one. It's not that we do not get along or anything (because people seems to think that for some reason). I'm completely disappointed in her and the person she has become. I won't explain why here and I won't say what happened. It's not my business to talk about it. Instead, I am just going to be a supportive girlfriend and help out with some matters.
Seriousness aside, it was still nice to get away from Rochester for the weekend, especially after getting about two feet of snow. There was practically no snow on the ground in Springfield, just your occasional chunks that was plowed ages ago. Having a few days off from work was a plus. The weekend consisted of a trip to the Basketball Hall of Fame museum, a few meals out including "On the Borders", actual basketball (and frisbee) fun, a lot of relaxing, and more. All of that was mostly spent with Sean's two of his siblings and his sister's boyfriend.
I also brought my camera with my new fancy schmancy hand-held flash and experimented some. My main model was the lovely Ms.Pringles. The odd part was that my allergies were fine when we arrived and she spent a lot of time curled up with me while I read my book. As the weekend went on, my allergies got worse and worse even when I was interacting with her less. This puzzles me greatly.
Overall, it was nice to see everyone and to be able to just chill. At the end, I could not be happier about coming back to a drama free home and to our own bed. In just a couple weeks, I'll be traveling to MA again but this time, with a close friend of mine. And I'll get to see my own sister. I can hardly wait!
your cat has the most beautiful face
ReplyDeleteThat's so weird!?! Your allergies were OK while you were around the cat but when you were gone, it got worse? It's possible that the cat dander was in the air and you walked around the dander and it got your allergies going adkfjaljd? Idk?
